That's it guys my 2004 530d it's sold!!!

130.000 kms, engine replaced once, turbo replaced twice, DDE replaced twice, exhaust system replaced twice, rear bumper replaced 3 times, paint job twice, ...... and yet a great car !!!

Got a 2006/07 530xd with 19.000 kms, confort seats, business nav, xenon, auto gearbox, ski package, alu cube trim and 2 years BMW warranty.

What do you think of it guys ????

Congrats, you new car is 110 k km's better and with very nice options + the warranty!
Also you have a lot of improvements and a differant engine in you new car.

But where's the snow in Portugal

Very good. Personaly I'm very happy with my 530xd. The grip is incredible, comfort is great and engine is very powerfull. Quality is very good.
Can you tell the difference. I've heard other people from 530d to 530xd telling the difference is amazing ...

Wow, some amount of trouble you had on the first one, I've never had anything mechanical go wrong, only done 501k miles though

About the snow, usually we go to Sierra Nevada in south Spain or to Andorra near Barcelona.

Well done on your new car mate.

What about the old one, i have said it before build quality may look good on the surface. In your case not even the surface!

The bottom line is never own an e60 thats not under warranty, i dont think a week has went past that i have not been in the dealer.

Have some fun with your new one though, get a remap first. And post us and tell us how it drives compared to the last one.

wow new engine and other stuff sounds like the car is hornted. or BMW has built a left over parts car.
I would have sold it right away and get a diffrent 1. which you have now. That good news.

So only at least 400 miles a day.
