dealership to dealership loaner policies seem to vary, but one rule seems to be consistent...if you purchased your BMW from the same dealership you are getting serviced from, you have a better chance of getting a BMW loaner. Having a good relationship with your SA also helps get you a BMW loaner. I did not purchase my BMW from the dealership I go in for service, usually I get enterprise loaners, but this last time in my SA gave me a BMW 335xi coupe to play with for 4 days. He let me know he only gets 1 BMW to give out so he has to be smart about who gets it and why. Luckily he did not have any customer's from that dealership in for service as well as he knew my lease was up this year....

THIS...

I was looking at the IS line before getting my old 330i. When I saw how small the interior is I decided against it. The front seat is touching the back seat when its all the way back. And Im 6'3" so that is where it would have to be.

Other then that I bet its a great car.

Yep, me too. I can't get a smaller car than what I have - I'm 6'4", so an is350 isn't an option for me. And it is not as fast as has been mentioned here, did a few runs against one recently and took him every time, not by much, but enough - about half a car length

I did the reverse. I sold my IS350 for a 535xi in February. The IS350 is a very well equipped car. I kept it 4 years. I find it unstable on uneven road. There was a lot of recalls: safety belts, fuel lines, rear calipers, 2 intake cams, they changed the rack & pinion 3 times. So i was disappointed about the quality... Now I am very happy with my BMW.

But to each their own.

When it comes to Japanese cars, I like Infiniti a lot more than Lexus. If you like it, that is all that counts.

Wait a minute, are you serious? A 260hp 530i can take a 300hp is350??? I would have never thought it was possible.
