Can anyone tell me how to check what version of the software in my new 530D M Sport. Also, how do you go about doing this ?.

Cheers.

you can't check it yourself.

The supplying dealer should be able to tell you what has been on coming from the factory

I have 23.01.00. No telling what came in your car, but it should be pretty recent. To have it upgraded, something has to be broken, and you have to go to your dealer. Your dealer problem won't tell you what you have because your car would have to be hooked up to the software installer. You probably won't know what you have until your first software upgrade. Then, you'll probably have to go to extra lengths to find out what has been installed. "Good" dealers indicate what has been installed on your paper work.
