has anyone noticed whether their car after the installation of version 17 has a much better reasponse when accelarting. i have a 530d sport and notice that accelarting from a standstill position is much faster then pre version 17.
am i correct in thinking this or is it in my mind

My Ride: '05 545i, silver gray, black leather with anthracite maple wood, sport package, premium sound, navigation, cold weather package, electric rear sunshade, folding rear seat, satellite radio prep, PIAA 4150K fogs, red rear reflectors, hardwired Valentine One
Since I had 17.01 installed, my exhaust sounds much different...here's a sound clip...

I noticed a pretty appreciable difference in acceleration and shift pattern, D mode is a lot more tractable than before (almost feels like my old DS mode). That said I also had valve clearances adjusted at the same time as 17.1 was installed so I don't know if that made a difference as well.

Interesting ABS. I was waitinf for someone with a 530D to comment.
I am on about 15 or so and will be having 17.1 loaded when it arrives in 2 weeks time.
I have long been complaining about throttle response, lag etc. I hope I notice as much of a difference as you have.
