I don't know if this is a software issue or not but it's annoying.
Sometimes when I start my veh, the NAV screen comes on right away where I have the option to choose music, GPS, communication, etc.
However, sometimes, the NAV takes approxi 20-30 seconds after start. The NAV only shows the BMW logo and then I get the option to pick what I want.
Anybody know what's causing this? Thanks again...Nick

Do you know what some of the E60 changes are for CCC vehicles in Progman 27, and when it's due to be released?

I just got 26.1.1 and it took Beverly Hills BMW 4 days to get my car back though and no loaner since I didn't buy the car from them.
But alas, hopefully it fixes a few issues I had, namely with the rough idle at cold start, the inability to ever stop smoothly, I even had a 1-2 gear slam that happened one time.

People keep asking how much it would cost to do these program updates but the only response EVER given is "it's free because you're car is under warranty and you can just find a reason to have them do it".
My car is now at 70K (couldn't buy the extended warranty because i bought the car at a BMW / Audi auction with 10K on it).
I REALLY REALLY REALLY want a progman update and am wondering if anyone can give me hard numbers on what it would cost.
Has anyone done an update out of warranty? I understand that it's up to the discretion of the Service manager / associate and whether
they're attracted to you or not...
...but I just wonder if anyone knows whether they have a reasonable "set" price for out-of-warranty owners who need an update.
Thanks
