530 SMG, Sport Package, Jet Black..Had since New, mostly highway mileage in Florida. 112k Dealer serviced till now with NO repairs other than maintenance. PERIOD. Have SMG Transmission Failure. Afraid to bring to dealer, so its in the garage as I ponder options. LOL. NO MODIFICATIONS other than black grille. Thinking about exhaust, M Kit, Factory Staggered rims, ala M-5 or 550 and upgrade stock stereo, which by the way, my Ford Truck stereo and of course, my Mini Cooper S with HK sounds better!

2004 530D SE 95,000 miles. Had it since about 40,000.
Where do I start....
New turbo, exhaust and associated sensors.
New steering column.
New door seals.
New airbag on steering wheel. New rear window due to faulty aerial.
New driver's seat base due to broken heater element.
New passenger seat base due to broken heater element.
New gear knob due to flaking crome.
New battery.
All except one seat and battery done under warranty. I would not buy another car without remaining warranty to fix outstanding bugs. I've probably forgotten something, but i've taken care of the car and have full service history, so seemed to have got a bad one from the start! All worked fine when I bought it. Problems came later, so the original owner wouldn't have known.
I want a Quattroporte!!!! Need a small lottery win.....
Ian.

2004 525i CPO with 74,000 miles, bought it at 45,000 1 and a half years ago, looks new inside and out:
Problems:
1) rear window module went out
2) power steering pump went out
3) belt tensioner replaced
4) window washer motor and related stuff replaced (still leaks)
Other then that runs fine.
