I've done the same thing. Couldn't remember if I locked the car or not and pushed the lock button again as I was walking away. Turned around to look at the car one more time before heading in to the building (you know you do the same thing!) and noticed the windows were down.
So it wasn't my BMW that did something weird, it was operator error! : )

Yeah, u might have hit the BMW logo on the Key Remote by accident; or if not, that car need to be on CNN...

This happens all the time if you leave your key in your pocket and something presses against it. It is a function of a less than optimal key fob design that allows this to happen. It has happened to me as well.

I've had that before, when i went in to nando's, came out, unlocked, windows down, nearly threw up my dinner worryin that sum1 could have messed with her

I owned this 07 530i for only 1 week so far and first time parked in my garage cause it was really hot and sunny outside so I didnt want to get the leather messed up (no tint yet).
Well anyways an hour or so after I parked (in the garage) and came back cause I forgot something, all the windows was rolled down and the sunroof was open. It was weird cause I didn't touch anything at all.
Is this something the e60 does in a garage or something? haha cause it freaked me out!
