My Ride: 2007 BMW 530i
Default

I owned this 07 530i for only 1 week so far and first time parked in my garage cause it was really hot and sunny outside so I didnt want to get the leather messed up (no tint yet).

Well anyways an hour or so after I parked (in the garage) and came back cause I forgot something, all the windows was rolled down and the sunroof was open. It was weird cause I didn't touch anything at all.
Is this something the e60 does in a garage or something? haha cause it freaked me out!

You may have sat on your key fob or otherwise energized it.

+1 Happened to me and my '07 was parked outside in the rain! Fortunately the alarm went off and I caught the situation before the interior got soaked.
The next morning I ordered leather key fob covers!! No repeat performances since then and I always keep the comfort access fobs in my pocket.

+1. Sometimes the button will depress just putting the keys in your pocket.

It also happened to me once. I parked on the road and put the key in pocket. Then walked to opposite to do some shopping. When finished and walked out from the shop, I saw a car opened the back cabinet on the road and without driver. I think which stupid do that and go away. When I crossed the road just find that it was my car, I was the stupid:}

From now on, i hold the key in my hand until I am very far away from the car, then out in my pocket.

Basically if you keep your unlock button on the key fob pressed for 4 to 5 seconds or so all the windows and the sunroof will open up.

Now if only we can get it to close the same way that would be swell
