Woke up Friday (Canada Day) morning. Ate a peanut butter and nutella sandwich along with my morning coffee. Took out my tool box, went over to the car. Removed both headlights and installed the 6000K D1S bulbs I've gotten for a birthday gift.

As my father was walking around the car to come help me, he notices something... Calls me over...

Somebody took a knife and literally Wolverined my car...

I went insane for 30 minutes.

No idea who could have done this. I have no enemies... Ex girlfriend? Can't be. Been 1.5 years since the last... No idea at all. Stupid punk kids that have nothing better to do? Haters?

If I ever find out who did this...

BMW quoted me $1400 CAD to fix... I'm thinking they gotta paint the rear door and quarter panel and blend it HARD! $1400 sounds pricey to me... What you guys think?

Happy Canada's Day [Belated], doesn't your insurance company cover that, minus a deductible?

Lol @ Wolverine.

Sorry that happened, does seem like a case for comprehensive coverage to me.

I hope you can get it fixed soon and don't experience a repeat.

Sorry about the idiots who slashed you.
Where are you? If in Toronto, get it redone by York Mills Auto Body on Leslie St. They do BMWs & MBs for the dealers.
Go through your comprehensive insurance. That's what its for. Insist on a BMW approved shop.

Sorry about your car... do you live in a house or a condo/apt?

My car was severly vandalized similar to yours but mine was rear quarter panel, rear bumper and trunk lid... mine was 2500 since mine was black coloured and i am currently buying a house i didn't want to spend the cash so i just touched it up... pretty damn deep gouges for me and you cant see it unless you look for it.

My car was parked in a secure underground parking lot i think its probably kids or who knows maybe adults... the mrs thinks since i zoom by in the parking someone didnt like that and did it to my car.

So perhaps maybe a lil drag you had with someone or you sped by someones lawn while they were out? it could be anything... these guys will probably be treated by karma!

Your right Karma takes care of everything. I live in the suburbs. My car was parked in my driveway. I'm moving very shortly. I think I'll just wait till I move to fix this. Seems a better bet.

My deductible on this is 1000. So meh an extra 400 no claim. Figure why not just do it myself.

Man that sucks, literally was Wolverin'ed. Don't understand why some people are like that. Sigh.
