According to the local dealer (Knauz) my 2010 535i X-Drive (71,500 mi.) has a leak from the oil filter housing gasket and the right tie rod end needs to be replaced which will also require a 4 wheel alignment service and possible replacing the rear toe adjustment bolts. Wanted to do a little research before committing to it as this may possibly require me to sell a kidney on e-bay?

I will seek out a bid from a local Indy shop as well. Has anybody performed the oil filter housing gasket replacement? Curious how complex a project that is? The whole tie rod replacement thing is way beyond my capability.

As always I am open to any thoughts, suggestions, and ideas from the members.
