Hey everyone-
So it's now mid march, getting a bit warmer. Is it too early to get my summer tires mounted? I live in Central New Jersey. Doesn't look like there is snow in the forecast, but it's still a little chilly in the AM. What do you all think.
Unfortunately, I make a sacrifice for both sets of tires....the snows are quiet but i loose handling, and the run flats handle much better but are SO LOUDDDD!

Since central jersey has gotten snow in the first wk of April, at the end of march I would listen to the forecast for the 1st wk of April and act accordingly. I have to get to work and I would be forced to take a day off if I had summer tires and it snowed 3 inches on April 2.

I took mine off last Saturday. Temps during the day have been over 40 and should be for the remainder of this month in the NYC area.

The Run-Flats are probably all seasons, so you should be fine. If they were high performance tires, I would say you should wait a few more weeks, even if there's no snow in the forecast.
