Default Snapped bolt heads.. how to remove.

Hi all how would I remove two bolts that are snapped from my valve cover gasket? (head of bolt snapped flush)

Ugh sucks.. well you could try your luck with a reverse bolt remover and pray that it gets it out without messing up the threads. You could try to drill it out and use a tap. Or just go to town on it and put in a helicoil.

All options really suck considering your car is all apart now and getting someone with skills to do it to come to your car is probably next to impossible

I suppose you could try to put it all together without those bolts.. and then drive the car to someone that could attempt at the fix. I'd try the bolt extractor first and pray.. Cover everything so that the metal shavings don't make your problem worse.

DId it break flush to the valve cover or the mating surface on the head? If the former, remove the valve cover and grip the remaining part. Otherwise, drill with a reverse drill bit and it should walk out. Unless the threads were galled, it should just come out.

I'm considering changing the valve cover gasket. I have noticed two of the bolts are snapped and was wondering how difficult this would be to extract these bolts out. Being that they are aluminum scares me because it is such a soft metal.
