Hey can anyone tell me why my car is smoking. The oil is good I just change the oil before the summer. What could be the problem?? It's 06 550i.

What color smoke? Where is it coming from?

Need more info....where is the smoke coming from? What color is the smoke? Any codes? How many miles?

IIt has 69**** miles, the color is blueish sometimes white coming from the tailpipe. No codes, and oil level is ok.

Black = excess fuel being burned
Blue = oil being burned
White = coolant being burned

OK, you're killing me with the lack of information. Walk us through a daily occurrence of the "smoking" is it blue only at start up, while driving, when cold/hot. When is it white? How often does this occur? Any driveability issues? The more info you can give us, the better we can help you out

Take it easy killer.. Like I said it just started to smoke its a blueish in color and it happens ever so often. Im just looking to see if this is known problem. It don't smoke all the time tho..

It could be a lot of different things. You probably have to wait for it to get worse before a fault code will register.
