If you have automatic transmission, it'll work. SMG Paddle is about $200 each + SMG steering wheel + airbag. There are some M5 steering wheel with paddle on ebay. Do "E60 M5 Steering wheel" search on ebay.

I love it. Thanks to Hobi

I see you're from Europe so that is an advantage
but before anything else you really need to get the M5 wheel with the paddles. We go from there

read my other thread under the link if you want to know the cost.
Plus that you need to get the kit from HOBI a forum member here. The price for that is his thing so I'm not gonna talk about that.
The install was done by Hobi as well.
well put it this way.... the official way of getting it from Hobi will take a little while and will be done via his website only....
but if you want to drive to Prague you can get it done soon, I think

as to the all cost to Hobi that you have to ask him on your own.
all I can tell it is totaly worth it and it is no rip-off at all.

I bought the M5 steering wheel with the paddles on the ebay. Hobi supplies the rest exclusively.
