Smell and smoke after rain/wash
So after my cars been sitting in the rain, or after a wash and I go for a drive, I can see white smoke coming up from the hood and will come through my air vents if my air con is on..
I looked under the hood and it's seemingly coming from the headers/exhaust manifold, but I can't exactly pin point it.
It stinks, idk if it's coolant or oil.
I recently had a coolant leak from the expansion tank, but I've replaced that and so far no coolant low issues - still have a slight leak at the temp sensor o ring.
So what do you think it is? And I can always smell a 'burning'-ish smell when i get out of the car..

Not sure bud, need to know more. If it coolant it would have a real sweet smell. Oil, well, it will smell like burnt oil. Not sure how rain or a car wash would have an effect on it though. VCG's are a well documented source of oil leaks and that would allow for oil to run down the head to the exhaust manifold.
My VCG's are leaking on my V8 on the passenger front so I have been cleaning it with carb/choke cleaner when cold just to keep the burned oil smell down until I can get it in the shop for the replacement of the VCG's.
