Small Bulbs for angel eyes

Hello all! This forum is great. I have been hanging around in this forum for sometime and finally decided to post. I am also a proud owner of a 525i e60. I was searching the forum for info regarding upgrading my angel eye bulbs. My 2004 525i has a small bulb above the headlights that seem to power the angel eyes. All of the upgrades I see are a larger LED bulb that would not fit my car and goes below the headlight. Can someone please help me out with this? If i want to upgrade to a brighter white bulb what are my options?
