I've just had the Tyre Pressure Warning System pop up a tyre pressure message on the I-drive. Sure enough there's a nasty looking nail embedded in the middle of the driver's side front wheel. I had the warning pop up prior to the weekend and BMW topped up the air and reset the system. They didn't spot the nail at the time. Seems it's a slowish puncture.
So, in general, can the 19" 172's be repaired or do they need to be totally replaced?
I'm also fearful of taking the car to a tyre place in case they damage the alloys...
