Adrian, I thought you said your car didn't rub with 5 people in it? Is it rubbing now? Mine rubs occasionally even with 2 people and I didn't even lower it. I was thinking of putting on coilovers to both lower the ride height as well as stiffen things up a bit to control any potential rubbing.
Coilovers will be a bit more bouncy than stock shocks (from what I hear). My M3 was terrible with PSS9's, but damn did she handle.

The car is normally not that low... it just looked funny to me with all the junk in the trunk and how low the car got. Normally the car is just as low as anyone elses on this forum that has lowered their car. At first I wasn't really feeling the chrome and Silver wheels to me wouldn't look right on a black car. (Maybe a silver car) everyone has their preferences. My M3 was more the racer type car my 545i is more the bling......

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.
