I just received an ER intercooler for the 535i and found the surface area measurements are less than the stock intercooler. Most websites report the measurements and graph data for the 135i/335i. Is this intercooler going to have minimal improvements over stock (better fin density being the added feature)?
I'm disappointed to find out that CP-E makes one specific to the 535i that is the same 20' to 21' across as the 135i/335i version. When I had done research I clicked out of cpe when I saw a thread where someone got the 335i version and had to find hoses that would work with it.
Can someone with experience weigh in on what this means for a tuned car with meowless pipes in the Texas heat?
