My Ride: 07 530 xiT, ED, titanium gray, Sirius, Logic7, Nav, HUD, PDC, comfort access, comfort seats, butt warmers
I just got an '07 530xi with factory-installed Sirius and premium audio. I love it .... EXCEPT that in the line at the bottom of the idrive display, only the channel name (such as "Gold" or "NPR Now") is displayed. The display does not switch between channel, artist, and title, like it does for many RDS FM stations.
Is there any way to configure the bottom line to switch or scroll between Sirius channel, artist, and title? (I can see all the info if I dedicate the left-hand display screen to Sirius - but I'd love to free up that screen real estate for the nav system display.)

I'm pretty sure there's no way to configure the bottom of the screen to show what you want (the rotating Sirius channel/artist/song data). If you want to see the nav at the same time you view the Sirius info, you can use the right portion of the screen - or is that too small for you?

I'm getting greedy - right now I've got the nav direction arrow on HUD, the nav map on the right-hand display, and Sirius on the left display. I'd like to switch the nav map to the left display, and have the current position display (street name, city, elevation, etc.) on the right display

And I thought I was an information-a-holic!
What I'd like to see is a voice-controlled Internet browser window capability. Then I'd spring for HUD.

I'd like to see a weather map on iDrive. Seems like it would be very doable to link to a weather site?

Weather would be easy to do, especially if your phone has Internet access in some form (e.g., Sprint's EVDO). All you need is a simple browser to run on the screen. Very distracting when driving, though, but then we're all multitaskers these days anyway.
