Any one know how to install EOM BMW Sirius on a 2007 530I?
I know the location on the trunck and I found the conections and all fits perfect, sounds stupid but I cant find the batery terminal, just the positive , no the negative, not able to cut the power complitily so can reset the Idrive so can reconize the new hardware.
Any tips before I brake anything?
Thanks

I did the physical install of my Sirius module myself. Does your car come w/ SAT radio prep? I think option code #693 ... which I think should be for MY07 & up ...
w/ that it should be a bundled of cable in the driver side of trunk that has the proper plug along w/ the MOST fiber plug, power & antenna that are ready to plug to the module... but then you'll have to extend the fiber loop in the fiber junction box located by the rear shock (behind the trunk liner cover) on the driver side behind the rear seat and then go to the dealer for enable re-programming for the iDrive to see the new source.

Thank you for replied to my question:
Now what exactly is the option code #693 ? Is the Sirius model compatible?
and yes I got all the connections for the module
Now big question mark: " extend the fiber loop in the fiber junction box" ???
Just the dealer will be able to re-programming or just disconnecting the battery , will reset and re-boot the IDrive?
sorry for all this questions but is my first time attempting to do this task.
Regards
