My 530 came installed with Sirius SAT Radio and I have noticed a 2-5 second delay in the artist/song information being displayed on the screen when I'm changing channels. Does anyone have this problem?

I've always had this.... I don't think its an error, just normal operations.

I do have a delay as well, think it normal as the song information is downloaded with the signal and diplayed, though I don't think I've ever seen it as long as 5 seconds. The only real quirk that I've noticed about Sirius is that when I start the car the iDrive screen comes up as it should and Sirius is playing. Often, if I then go into the entertainment section to display the song title and artist, it won't display anything if it is mid-song. If I switch to a new channel, the info will display just fine. And when the next song starts, it does display that info as well. Just a slightly annoying quirk if it a song I like and want to find out who the artist is...

I also notice that upon starting the car. Its annoying . . . . Anyways, thanks for your replies and am glad that this is not a problem with my own radio, but rather something that most people are experiencing.
Sometimes I think its just better to buy an aftermarket sat radio (xm) and hook it up to my aux input!

I have four Sirius subscriptions. Two in homes, WA and FL and 2 in vehicle (6er included). All do the same thing (Three different brands of receivers). Not unique to BMW implementation.
