It's the satellite radio option that most of us with Nav can't get... If you'll look on page 138 of the owners manual, you can find out how to activate it.

I'm in the US, so it may be different in the other parts of the world...

The folks that do sirius are working on the license for Europe. If you have NAV you can get the Sat prep. The parts for the Sat with NAV is suppossed to be available around Nov according to the service dept. I was glad to know that the prep is finally coming with cars with NAV, cause I have it.

Interestingly enough, I have the Sat Prep (option 693) on my early March build 545 with NAV. It's a no-cost option according to the Monroney Sticker, so I have to have a talk with my dealer about the $75 that I shouldn't have been charged, but the prewiring is there. Not sure if I will have it installed, since I like our local sports talk AM station, but it might be cool to have.

I was charged on the 530i but I can see why it should have been free on the 545. After all it is a higher standard than the 530. I would want money back or something towards accessories.
