i have seen quite a few pics of E60's that have a silver center console (dash) instead of a black one. Is this an extra or does it come with certain interior combinations? can i have some pics of this please?

i think you are talking about the titanium trim, right? it's standard for the base model 525 and 530. in the u.s., we have to pay for the wood trim if we don't get the premium package for that two models.

i know the titanium is standard and wood is extra. but im talking about around the heater switches. Just below the centre air vent. around the cd slot. i have seen some cars that are silver there. Just like the 6 series.

I've seen it too. I think those pictures where from a 6 series interior, although I am not sure.

here, found a picture of it. it has grey leather with maple wood just like i have ordered. does this mean that mine will have a silver dash aswell?

I think you're referring to the gray trim. You'd get this color if you order a gray interior. If you order a black interior, you'll get black trim. If you order beige, you'll get beige trim.
My grey car looks like the picture you posted (pic is of Lomag's car) except I have the poplar wood instead of the dark anthracite wood.
