My Ride: Plucked bmw.....
Side window on LCI fell in !?
Yesterday evening I have accidentally push the button for the rear side window on my LCI model, and the window went normally a bit down,
but then when I pressed the button for up in could not roll up, only the window mechanism sound of skips was heard, and the window almost dropped free in to the doors.
Lucky it all happened in front of the home garage and I manage to capture the window and wedged it whit some plastic part.
I know for this issue on E46 and E39 models, but on E60, I never heard about.
So what could be the reason?
It looks as if the window is unhinged from the windows rails?

Pull the door panel with a "door panel remove" tool they are 8-9$usd and pop the panel off you'll see right away the wires gave way and you'll need to replace it, no way to repair.
