I got this after i disconnected the battery to replace the steering wheel trim.
Here's all I have done.

- Halfway rolled down the drivers window (to make sure i don't get locked out)
- closed all doors (not lock)
- waited 16 mins + then disconnected the negative on the battery
- connected battery after work done and that error keeps coming up.

I assume its because of step 1 above. The window rolls up/down just fine and the anti-trap works fine since i put my hand as it was going up and then it goes down when it touches hand.
Any way to clear this without coding? Perhaps do the steps above but have the window rolled up all the way before disconnecting battery and it will clear it?
I guess windows need to be reinitialized, but how?

this is how if anyone comes across this:

The anti trap issue is a common one for E60s. To reinitialize the window, push and hold the window button (from the drivers seat controls) until the window is all the way down, and hold for another 5 seconds. Then pull and hold the button until the window is all the way up, and hold for another 5 seconds. That should reset the affected window.
