side molding for e60????

i read at other board that a guy bought a new e60 wit side molding option,said it
was about $700 .. i never heard side moldings before..was it available all the
time???

My MY02 530 had side moldings, why not on the E60?
By the way, I noticed that the door handles stick out more on the E60 and are made of plastic, I wonder if they act like side moldings, as they may protect the side from someone opening the door. I wonder if they are designed that way. I haven't tested this theory yet, however.

I agree. Not to be offensive, and to each his own, but I think side moldings would look like ass on the e60...
