Is the side markers suppose to light up?

Hey guys I was thinking about the side markers because I went to couple of them and I dont remember if stock is suppose to light up while headlights is on or is it just suppose to light up when you signal?

Side markers under the side mirrors? They only light up with turn signals.

Yeah the sides under the mirrors, are you sure or am I tripping out. I swear it lights up, oh well thanks

You know how the side marker under the mirrors, its your turn signals. Some cars have it on when your headlights are on.

Oh, yea those are only supposed to turn on when you use the side markers...they are not running lights...

Yeah I thought I was tripping out because I forgot if it was suppose to be on, I have seen other cars stay on so I was just wondering.
