So this is the deal. I found this 2007 X5 4.8i that i really like, but what is killing me is that 4.8 engine + all the bad reviews about electrical stuff and transmission problems.
They ask $30000 for it, and it has 112000km. Fully loaded!

What`s the real mpg on these things?

My 530 is a 2004, SMG tranny (love it!!!! That`s the whole car right there), sport package etc with 142000km. New brakes, new tires, no accidents, i`m doing the oil change every 4000km.

I still like my 530 with its SMG tranny, but i prefer to get a new toy instead of giving my money to the gov`t.
Another thing is, i`m 26, no wife, no kids etc...i still have a few more years to act like a retarded child and waste my money on ....cars. Is X5 more like a family car?? I`m also considering 645Ci convertible, SMG tranny.
