finally found the 2006 525xi I have been looking for , White with tan interior the car has 49000km . Anyways I got the service report and want to know if I should be concerned about a couple of thing.
At 33000 km it had defect code
#11120001 Cylinder head cover Cracked / broken / torn off . (is this just the plastic cover)
and at 31000 km the left and right tie rods were replaced.
Those are the two major ones that worry me, should I be worried? This will be my first BMW and I dont want to make a bad pick.
Anyways all advise would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

First I won't worry about at all.

Second, I really won't worry much if the tires are wearing evenly and no shakes at any speeds or when braking. You'd have to almost ask why the tie rods got replaced.

That would be my worry, suggests possible abuse.

Don't worry at all everything should be fine and by the way it's still new.

Indeed, just check out why the tie rods.... and why both. could have done a nice curb jump then there's a possibility of other unseen damage. That's what I'd look for.

Thanks for the replys
The defect code #11120001 Cylinder head cover Cracked / broken / torn off is the one that I am worrying about. It was in for the same thing twice within 2000km.What would cause this to be replaced? Has anyone else had this?

Young could use this on eBay to see if it's been anywhere else?

Code #11120001 Cylinder head cover Cracked / broken is the real concern. The other stuff is easy to fix. Car has low miles. I woner if you can get more info on that code.
