I'm thinking of getting extended maintenance 2 years / 100K as my 4 years free maintenance will expired end of next month. The cost will be $1895.

Currently my 07 525i w/ 36K miles the iDrive show that I will need

rear break in 7K
oil change in 7K
filter in 11K
front break in 11K

So with rear brake job that will run me about $1400 (SA quoted). I think might be a good idea to get it.

What do you guys think?

 

is it the maintenance or the repair? I heard there are 2 different ones and one doesn't cover as much. If you don't change your breaks yourself then i would go for it. Make sure you know what it covers though!

It only cost me 200 to do my breaks all 4 corners with getting the rotors turned/fluid replaced/sensors replaced (i did the work my self).
