Angry

So this morning I was driving and took a turn when the car slid and hit the curb. Not only is my rim scratched but all the sudden all the lights start coming up. AWD and DSC malfunctioning. then the steering wheel turns half way and thats how i have to keep it to drive straight!!! Then I go to park the car and when i back up as i turn the wheel it completely turns hard itself.

I called my BMW Dealer and they said it may have been just a small problem that if you leave the car off for an hour then start it back up it may fix itself....

Well I try it and guess what. It is still done for. This sounds like its gonna cost me.

Does insurance cover hitting curbs??? haha I don't know what to do. This sux!!!!

All depends on your insurance deductible and damage. I had similar error message to pop-up once, and after short time and restart it disappeared. I feel you pain!

part of it sounds like an active steering malfunction...

Look in your manual to see how to reset it; something like turning the steering wheel all the way to the left, then all the way to the right, then center. Turn the car off then back on. That should reset the steering issue.

Can't help you with the other issues. Try driving it around for a few days to see if they go away.

Good luck

Yea if you live there, then you shouldn't be worried about repair costs haha.
