Thumbs up

At first I would just floor it and click into the next gear. It would kinda slide into the gear, not real smooth.

After reading some posts on the SMG, I thought I might try shifting like a manual tranny, i.e, letting of the gas as is I had a clutch and then clicking into the next gear. I swear it's almost like having a manuall tranny. I haven't got the timing down yet but it still seems to work pretty well.

Anyone else have experience with the Manual Mode Steptronic?

Interesting that you bring this up!

I was just trying the same thing myself the other day. To my surprise the shifting was much better / smoother / quicker . It felt like the delay from selecting next gear to having thrust again , was faster.

Have to test it more and try to perfect it. But as you say, it feels more lika a manual.

I love this car. 20.000 km and still finding new features / ways to drive and use!
