Why not buy the tape yourself and try a DIY ? If it turns out bad, just peel it off and you would have only lost about $30. But if it turns out well, you would have saved at least $100.

I've thought about buying the tape, but with all of the snow where I am, I'm afraid it won't be durable enough. Maybe I'll just buy the trim pieces and try the install myself.
