I hope you managed to get a new set of wiper blades out of them (part of service inclusive...)
In the UK wiper blades are not included in Service Inclusive. They are included in Service and Maintenance Inclusive however. That's what made me choose the latter! :'(

You chose the Maint. Inclusive just for the wiper blades???

However, I have the fully inclusive and got my wiper blades replaced without any issue... (But I had to ask for them rather than just being fitted when the car was in)

There's only one package over here. They call it Service Inclusive
It's not cheap... well over ?1000 for a 5 series

BMW Service Inclusive.
This package comprises:
- Oil and oil filter change (not including top-ups)
- Service/replacement of air filters, microfilters, fuel filters, spark plugs, brake fluid
- Brake pad/discs front and rear
- Clutch (wear and tear)
- Windscreen wiper blades as part of routine maintenance
- Vehicle check and standard services as set out in BMW Service Booklet

The package has a contract term of five years and distance milestone of 100naffected.

Information on conditions.
The following in particular are not covered under the scope of BMW Service Inclusive: maintenance beyond the given time/kilometre windows; fuel; impurities in the fuel system; damage to paintwork, body, blinds or panels; damage to glass (panes, lamps); the elimination of wind noise, squeaking or knocking sounds; tyres; wheel damage and wheel imbalances; damage caused by the driver (such as engine damage due to insufficient oil, participation in motorsport events). All service work conducted under the BMW Service Inclusive agreement must be carried out by a participating BMW dealer, a BMW Service-authorised workshop or a BMW subsidiary. Services provided by BMW Mobile Service and service claims covered under liability for material defects remain unaffected.

Just confirms yet again there are regional variations.

There's a big risk in trying to crack a funny from a keyboard.

I obviously failed.

Not every time though.

I often laugh at some of your posts....especially when in reply to a certain member from HK!

Keep up the good work!

Normal!!

The microfilter "miles counter" can go up and down alot! If I drive alot downtown, parking garage etc, it will count down fast. But if I take the car on a long roadtrip out of the city, the miles for the microfilter serivce will increase!

We just did 1600 km's in 5 days, and the microfilter needed to be changed in 45.000 km's before the long trip. When we got home the microfilter needed a change in 48.000 km's
E60Sim,
Thanks!
I did do some spirited driving. Maybe that's why the service indicator went "backwards" to "no service needed" until 3K miles from now.

Some fresh air at higher speeds seems to clear up the microfilter - maybe?!
