Default Serpentine Belt and tensioner

How often should I replace the belt? I have 83K and it looks good but have heard these do not wear out like older style belts and do not show their true wear.

also do I need to change the tensioner or can I get away with just the belt?

Probably approaching a good time to change it. When the belt is off, you can spin each pulley and the tensioner and see how they spin. Of course, that means if they do need replacing, you'll have to put the old belt back on or wait for parts.

I replaced the belt, tensioner and idler pulleys at 100k. It sure can't hurt to change the belt every 60,000 miles.

You have probably already thought of it, but keep the old belt in your trunk in case some day you are out of town and your belt breaks.
