I just tryed a new product - ArmorAll Wheel Protectant - was skeptical but am amazed how well this has kept brake dust off of my wheels. After several hundred miles this week and driving in rain, my wheels are not black.
This product is well worth a try!

+1 They work best heated up during very aggressive driving/braking ... probably more aggressively than is legal or practical in the USA.

I have the hawk ceramics, with the R1 concepts D\S rotors, when I start my ride for the first 10 minutes the brakes feel like a soft pillow, but after a while I have personally felt they brake better.

Given the fact that I was using Carbon Cool from bavauto with OEM rotors, I lost 15--20% breaking, I guess this is because of the D\S rotors along with the ceramic pads but let me tell you, I just love my wheels even more cuz they stay nice and CLEAN

I have hawk brake pads, and there is almost no brake dust anymore.

I use semi-metallic Posi-Quiet pads I got from Trinity. Virtually no brake dust.
