So I just tapped into the secret menu (just got delivery yesterday June 20, 2005) and it shows a build date of Dec. 16, 2004?!? Should I be alarmed by this?!? Is there a possibility that I got a refurbished car?!?

What does the sticker inside the drivers door say?
Did you order the car or was it in Dealer Inventory?

The sticker says mfr date of 05/05.
This was an order, not from Dealer Inventory.
My fear is that they may have used some refurbished parts to complete the car...

Plugged in I-Forum, i forum, I Forum and I got the following:
The error returned was:
One or all of your search keywords were below 4 characters or you are searched for words which are not allowed, such as 'html', 'img', etc, please go back and increase the length of these search keywords or choose different keywords.
What am I doing wrong? Where is the I Forum?. I'm VERY interested in getting to it. The I-Drive fascinates me and gives me the ibi-jibbies at the same time - if that makes sense.

Type in "secret menu" and search. Here's one of them:

Some of the dates reffered in the secret menu just refer to the date of a device or CCC man. date or software update. Not the date your car was made. Nothing to worry about...

Don't worry man,
It would cost more for BMW to refurbish a car than to build one. It takes only 2 days for a sheet metal to become your car.
I was at Dingolfings tour, and I saw plenty of rejected parts that only had small visual imperfections. I asked about if they would try to fix them, but the Alexander said no, because it would be too much work and no logistics were allocated for the repair.
