Seat Memory

Does anyone else's seat memory clear themselves? Every once in a while the #1 memory for the seat in the 530i goes blank, yet #2 always seems to work. Does anyone else have this problem/what should I do? Both me and my dad drive the car and I'm on #2, he's #1. He has chronic back issues so if the seat isn't in the right spot it causes him tremendous pain. On the other hand, just giving him the #2 spot wouldn't suffice as it is his car and blah blah blah. Anyway, any help would be appreciated! Thanks guys.
