Hello,
I have e60 LCI (02/2007).
And have a problem with seat heating after i changed from
classic, heated, half-electric seats
to
sports, heated, half-electric seats bought from LCI aswell(2008).
After the change(seats and modules from
under the seats) Electric moving works but heating just doesnt work. LED glows for 3 seconds and then sets off.
Did i forgot to do something? Or where can the problem be?
Before the change there was no problem with seat heating.
Best Regards!

Something is making it trigger different. If you verified the wiring was the same on the plugs I would think the VO would have to be changed for it to work completely.
Did you also put the new modules in or you kept the old ones. If the new modules are in it would probably need just a VIN coding to work correctly.
I have never retrofitted seats but everything else I've retrofitted needed to be coded in for it to work 100%

Today i coded sport seats into the vo, but this didn’t change anything. I couldn’t code vin into the modules because there was no SMFB OR SM module in ECU or LMA, why they doesn’t show? Neither the old ones (modules) and the new ones.
Any tips from now?
