THE WAY TO DO IT IS TO BREAK THE SENSOR. DONT ADVISE IT. JUST PUT IT , better than getting killed or at least getting a ticket
do a little search, i remember reading a DIY for it

I really rather not get into the whole political debate about seat belts saving lives (I know they do mostly, but I don't like being harassed about it by an annoying chime). That to me breaks my consitiutional rights.
Lets get to the real thing- I guess 55mph also save lives, right??? What a joke! Any way, I appreciate the look and response. Many thanks. I've seen a lot

That would be nice to know how to disable the chime. It really is annoying, I have to drive every day in the garage 5Km/h just exactly as long as it needs to start chiming then open the door, get our and get in again. it would save me about 1000 times a year of pointless seat belt using.

I got in a roll over accident and didn't have my seatbelt on and that is what saved me if I had it on would of got messed up, cops on the scene asked me if I was wearing it, I replied "I always wear it" he looked at me funny but didn't say anything. So my point is seatbelts are like girlfriends sometimes ANNOYING

I also know of plenty that were saved by not wearing one.
