I just asked a few questions on the E63/64 forum regarding the 2004-07 convertible and have not received any responses. Do any of you guys know the answers? Here are the questions asked?
"I went to a local dealer to check out a used 6 series convertible. Nice ride but I noticed that the seats were power seats the could only mover forward (toward the front dash) slightly leaving an approximately 9-10 inch gap for the rear seat entry. But when I looked into a 6 series coupe, the seats moving forward were manually operated and it has a two-stage forward movement like the older 3 series coupes. The seat would move forward initially and then hindged and lifted forward some more leaving a very generous space (about 16-18 inches) to access the rear seats.
Does anyone with a 6 series convertible have this type of seats? Is it call a sport seat or comfort seat in order to get this feature? or Is it only available in the coupe?
Thanks in advance for all the help!!"

The KotR expert CobraDav visits e60.net on occasion but he has a 6er coupe himself and may not know the complete answer.
