a new e70! I was at the dealer debating if I was going to buy a 535xi then something terrible happened. With our second child on the way practicality took over. I couldn't justify buying a new e60 with my wifes car being a sedan as well. I'll probably join the e60 family again in a couple of years when my wifes lease is up. I'll get rid of her car and find myself a CPO M5. I got an outstanding deal since it was already on the lot. It was a special order that was never delivered.

This X5 48i was loaded...Saddle Brown leather (special order only), cold weather package, premium pack, premium sound pack, rear climate pack, technology pack, comfort access, heads up display, comfort seats. It has pretty much everything you can get minus the sport package. I can fix that buy purchasing shadowline trim, fender flares, and some new summer wheels. (yes I am sticking with 128 style, but in 21" )

Anyway, I'll still be around. Here are some old, new, and new e70 pics (from the dealer lot).

COMING SOON! Look for my other thread with many parts for sale!

A few when the mods were finished...

One when I stripped her before trade in I can't believe it's the same car. It's amazing how some wheels and a few add ons can completely transform a car.

And a few of the new X5 48i on the lot right after I test drove her...(sorry about the phone pics)

I had an X5 before I switched to the 525 and I can tell you from experience that you will be happy. It will take getting use to being up high but cornering was fantastic in the X. Mine did have a sport package.

Congrats on the X nice ride if you in to modding my friend has some polished Forgiato with black pin stripe in a staggered fittment on the truck and it looks ridicolus(VERRy NiCE), I too have a Cayenne I love it I think porsche engineering is in a class of it's own(imo). Don't you love that your truck drives like a sports car?

I have put many miles on a 2002 X5 4.4l
Let me tell you that is the most amazing truck. It will take a corner just like the 5 series. It can climb a hill like crazy. I wouldn't buy any other SUV.

Enjoy.
