My Ride: 2005 E60 525D
Unhappy

Hi all,

Been lurking here for a while...

Today I finally saw my E60 525D. The car is beautiful. The downside is that I'll have to wait until december 1st before I can drive it home from the dealer. As this is a company car, the lease on my old one (E39 525D) has to expire first, before I can have the new car :'(

Seeing it today makes waiting another month that much harder... I guess the dealer will be seeing me quite often this coming month

I checked and I have the 2005 model with the center console wood trim. Other details:

Titanium Grey
Style 138 wheels with runflats (yeah I know...)
Sound system
Sport seats
Dakota grey leather
Sport steering wheel
Detachable Tow hook
Interior Lighting pack
Dimming interior mirror
Sport suspension
Poplar wood trim

That's about it...

Counting the days....

Hey Welcome 04r1belgium! If you have been lurking you know this is THE place to be, great information and nice people.

Nice setup! I can understand the agony of waiting. I have been waiting since August. Supposedly the car will be "born" next week. Send picture when you can! and Welcome again.
