I'm sure that most of you have saw/read the thread that I posted about the 2008 options for the E60. If now, http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=35217 there you go! I work for a dealer and waiting for news, as soon as I hear something, I will post it!

My Ride: 535d m sport - 9 Weeks to go!!
Default

We had only had the 330d 1 months when we decided to change, we came out of a RRS TDV6 HSE and before that a Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE - It is frustrating having to wait but not half as frustrating as buying now and then knowing that a car is out there with a new engine, gearbox and interior!!!! I loved the Dsicovery 3 TDV6 but it was under powered for its size / weight - sadly LR have said they will not be putting the TDV8 into the D3 therefore I am praying for a facelifted 535d to come along very very very very soon!

Well, as of now, I do not know much about the Diesel cars for the US. However, diesel will start making its way into the US starting in 2008, so you have over a year to go! However, the 5 will most likely have diesels along with the X5 and probably the X3. Hope this helps!

Now been watching this thread very quietly for some time. I, like many others have delayed my order waiting for 'news' of the face lift, I have ?1000 sat in a dealer bank account earning them interest!!! Would be interesting to know how many people are genuinely holding off for news of an updated car. I had originaly ordered a fairly well speced 535d m sport, my dealer was happy to delay and stated that they would know about any week 9 facelift by the 25th of Jan - surprised to hear that we could be seeing something today.......

TC,

I am also waiting for the new facelift. I have not commited with any dealer but will do as soon as the news comes out. I am interested to know what amount of discouts the UK dealers will offer on the new facelift. I guess there will be demand so the no chance of anything good (10%???).

As ABC would say. That is not a fact therefore it can not be certain it is YOUR guess and until we see official information from BMW then there is no point making statements like this.

;-)

(sorry my friend)

Of course it makes sense to unify manufacturing lines and introduce newer technologies.

But, a case in point with the 535i for example, we have seen ONE document on here which indicates that, at initial launch at least, the 535i is for the US market only.

But, when it comes to faith, no one can influence our beliefs.

Even if the beliefs are bonkers.
