Too funny. This is the same seller who listed here as well. I was trying to buy if the seller wanted to ship to US.

well, if I knew someone was doing it I probably wouldn't either, but most often people have multiple ebay user names and even bid against themselves to drive the prices up. On the other hand though, I am sure this is done all the time just as it is at flea markets and garage sells. Some people just have good selling skills, not in my case I can't even give good stuff a way sometimes! I have a good friend of mine that sells about 5-6 old Airstream campers a year. These are the ones from the 60's. He finds them and in some cases just cleans them a little then sells them for 5-6 thousand profit. Some he gets from other people that have been trying to sell it for a long time. It make no sense, other than how someone markets things. Perhaps in this ebay guy he sells a lot of stuff like this so when others see more items coming up they bid instead of just a one timer out there.

Consider it a wholesale purchase with a high-demand retail markup lol. Moral of the story? Morality doesn't always align itself with free market actions. While most here wouldn't do so out of consideration, some will simply for profit. If you find a great deal, don't pass it up. The flip side of the coin is he could very well price his new found purchase out of the market if his doubling is out of step with similar units being sold. A thing is only monetarily as valuable as someone is willing to pay for it.
