Is low sulfur diesel availbale in the US?

Without low sulfur diesel the catalisator wil be dammaged on top I do not know the consequences on the injectors.

I hate to say this, but I hope the hurricanes brought some smartness to all SUV (and other gas sluggling car) owners.
The new BMW diesels with particlefilters are a energy (oil) saving answer to less pollution.

[/quote]That's not true at all. Please look at the specs. Grand Cherokee is like the Sequoia (17/22). While I'm not getting the 18/26 on my 545i (no one should expect it - more on this in another thread), it's a little better mpg than my wife's Sequoia.

One of the interesting parts of the article were the small bottles of low sulfer EU specification diesel that they were using to fill the tank.
Perhaps they are doing the same with a 535d?

[/quote]Of course...i use only Premium Diesel from OMV wich here is the best diesel in the whole country. Low sulfer, increased cetanic degree and the strength not to begin wax separation till -25 degrees C. That's helps alot the engine, the enviroument, and the performance.
