I have been wondering for a long time if anyone knows how to either make the music (MP3) playlist screen or the satnav screen full size (of the 8 inch monitor) I could swear that before i had my software update that the music screen was full size.

I am now stuck with the 2/3 screen and small 1/3 trip computer screen on the right.....

Anyone know how to resolve this to full screen so that music playlist screen is bigger / satnav screen bigger?

I know its a question that may hve been asked many times beofre but i cannot find a resolution anywhere on the net.

Be honest i was wondering the same in my father in laws car im sure i remember doing the same but not in mine??

i don't think this is possible any more (if it ever was).

My car is a pre LCI 530i M Sport with software from around last year (so its quite new and not the original software - its the grey menu not the black / brown one)


I am sure that I had the full screen on the music / entertainment before i had my software upgrade.

I remember having the full screen music and then once satnav was activated and the 1/3 screen on the right was initiated, it then stayed there and has not gone away since. You can make it blank but not stretch the mani 2/3 screen.

I remember reading on here that some other members had the same and no one had been able to change it back.

I think you can do it with the new idrive on the later e60s 2009 / 2010
