Yes you can but you won't get a dealer to do it for you.
The prep means you have a fiber MOST and power and SAT antenna connections in the trunk. You can use the fiber and power to connect an IPOD adapter. The catch is you will need a really long cable to get your ipod next to you. Best option is to plan on leaving a cheap Ipod "permanently" connected and leave it in the trunk.
If you also have the CD changer prep then this is the normal way to connect an Ipod adapter because it is located behind the glove box.
