I bought my E60 in November 2003. It came with Satellite Prep. Navigation was not available at that time. I had to wait until June 17, 2004, to get the Sirius Satellite Radio installed. The first attempt failed because the receiver was defective (it received a signal but would not broadcast sound through the sound system). On the second attempt with a new receiver, it took more than six hours to download the software that integrates Sirius with iDrive.

It was well worth the wait and expense, though. I love Sirius, and it's great to have it integrated into the sound system. If i had to choose between Navigation System and Sirius, I would choose Sirius in a heartbeat!
